McCourt Policy Conference – call for Conference Chair applications

The application period is now open for the Conference Chair position for the annual McCourt School Policy Conference.

Every spring semester, McCourt hosts a one-day, student-run policy conference. The focus of the event is to convene past, current, and future public policy leaders to facilitate a discussion of ideas and agendas surrounding key policy issues.

Conference planning begins in September. Once the Conference Chair is selected, he or she conducts an application process for other McCourt students to serve on the Conference executive committee. The executive committee includes positions in areas such as fundraising, budget/finance, and communications. The Conference Chair also decides who will serve as the lead for each organized panel. The overall theme and panels are selected by the Chair and the executive committee.

If you are interested in becoming the McCourt School Policy Conference Chair, please submit your resume and a statement of interest to Jacci Clevenger at jc2505@georgetown.edu by Wednesday, September 16th at 5:00 p.m. This position is open to all McCourt students.
