    Please join the Beeck Center for Social Impact + Innovation, the McCourt School of Public Policy, and the Masters of Science in Foreign Service in celebrating the release of Alec Ross’s new book, The Industries of the Future. While Alec was working as Senior Advisor for Innovation to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, he traveled to forty-one countries, exploring the latest advances coming out of every continent. Alec explains what’s next for the world: the advances and stumbling blocks that will emerge in the next ten years, highlighting the best opportunities for progress and how we can navigate them.   • Discussion with Jennifer Bradley, Director of the Center for Urban Innovation at the Aspen Institute

    Join the McCourt Policy Innovation Lab Thursday, February 25th for a conversation about urban innovation with Jennifer Bradley, the founding director of the Center for Urban Innovation at the Aspen Institute. Jennifer was previously a fellow at the Brookings Metropolitan Policy Program, where she co-authored the book "The Metropolitan Revolution" with Bruce Katz. Jennifer has worked extensively on the challenges and opportunities of older industrial cities, and has co-authored major economic turnaround strategies for Ohio and Michigan. A former attorney, Jennifer co-authored Supreme Court amicus briefs in cases that affirmed the constitutional powers of local governments and secured greater environmental protections, including the landmark case, Massachusetts v.
